Are You Lost?

We are often ask this as we go through life, sometimes jokingly, but more often than not as a question as to whether we have a clue as to our actual geographic location.  Spiritually, it has a completely different meaning.

Spiritually it asks; If you were to die today, whether it be on your way to school, on your way home from work, on your way to see friends, or sitting at home on the sofa watching television, where would you spend eternity? Heaven or Hell? Most people don't like to consider the question, but it is one that we must all answer now or later.

If you are a Christian, having accepted Christ as your savior the answer is simple. Heaven! On the other hand, if you haven't accepted Christ as your savior the answer is Hell. Luckily for all of us, Jesus prepared for us a simple plan of salvation.

Presented in the book of Romans in the Holy Bible this outline will show you step by step how to be saved.

The Roman Way

Romans 3:23
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.  (All have sinned. . .)

Romans 5:8
But God commendeth his love towards us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.  (All are loved. . .)

Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.  (The payment for sin is death, being separated from God forever. But salvation is a gift from God, not earned by going to church, baptism, good works, etc. . .)

Romans 10:9,10
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead. Thou shalt be saved.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the heart confession is made unto salvation;  (Just believe and receive. . .)

Romans 10:13
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

After following the above plan of salvation, pray this prayer.

Lord Jesus, I ask you to forgive all my sins, come into my heart, and save me. I surrender my life to you, in Jesus name. Amen.

If, after reading the above, if you have accepted the Lord Jesus as your savior, please email us a praise report by clicking on the Prayer Request tab above. Under the subject heading simply type "Saved". We would love to hear your story and testimony if you would like to share them with us.
